Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In a wireless mesh network, the interference between nearby links is not negligible and thus degrades the area spectral efficiency. There have been many works on a use of directional antennas capable of forming a narrow beam to a destination node. An adaptive array capable of controlling not only beams but also nulls is more effective for reducing interference, and thereby the possibility to establish new links increases. Here, an alternative route enables avoiding resource competitions and improves the possibility of new link establishment. In the paper, we evaluate the system throughput performance in a wireless mesh network consisting of nodes having alternative routes and an adaptive array function.
