Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) IP traceback is a technique to detect attackers in denial of service (DoS) and distributed DoS (DDoS) attacks. We consider a space-time encoding scheme, which is an IP traceback scheme. In a space-time encoding scheme each router marks packets with bits that provide a compact representation of its local interface, not its IP address. The existing space-time encoding schemes produce false positives results in a DDoS attack. In this paper, we propose a space-time encoding scheme with no false positives. We also discuss its efficiency compared to the existing schemes.
