Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we propose an antenna-arrangement-oriented spatial decouping technique for bidirectional MIMO arrays intended for full-duplex applications. In this proposed technique, first, a MIMO array is configured as an interference channel matrix has sole dominant mode and the others are completely degenerated. Next, the dominant mode is cut off and weights correspond to the degenerated modes are formed in either Tx or Rx array so that Tx and Rx arrays can be spatially highly-isolated. In this report, we propose a 4×4 MIMO array configuration that has two orthogonal planes on which Tx and Rx arrays exist, and it is proved that this array configuration offers an interference channel matrix with three degenerated modes. Numerical results clarifies that interference power can be reduced to approximately -50 dB in a dipole MIMO array by sacrificing only one degree of freedom.
