Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In this paper, a tunable circularly polarized microstrip antenna is proposed and characteristics of the antenna are investigated. Varactor diodes are loaded along a patch element in order to achieve a frequency tunable function. In addition, as the patch element is excited by two signals with same amplitude and 90 deg. phase difference, it is possible to radiate a circular polarization. EM simulated and measured results are demonstrated and discussed, and the tunable circular polarization function is confirmed. |
