Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Effect on the chemical and biological composition of the dialysis fluid is concern that the corrosion is generated in the metal parts of the dialysate line. However, the corrosion and the study to occur on the dialysis line on safety of the dialysis treatment were hardly considered to be it. In this report, after removing corrosion dialysate line, since it has experienced an increase in transient endotoxin, was examined the relationship between corrosion and bacterial contamination occurring in the metal in the bedside console. For those observed corrosion device gear pump during the overhaul of the bedside console, and was peeled off by of ultrasonic waves corrosion or the like adhering to the component. As a result of investigating the presence of bacteria for the washing solution after the separation, to recover the originally anticipated more bacteria. From the above results, the corrosion generated in the bedside console is able to show that closely related to the bacterial contamination in the device components.
