Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of this study was to plenitude of respiratory therapy education on clinical engineer school curriculum(school curriculum) developed by a ventilator system (VTS). Subjects were 21 students, who passed through practical and classroom lecture in relation to respiratory therapy in three-year college. We performed scenario training of VTS on students. Students had tests before or after of scenario training of VTS. After that, we compared by statistical analysis results of the test, and discussed the educational effect of VTS. As a result, test scores were improved in all subjects. In addition, average score of the test was significant improvement from 95.86±6.37 to 71.67±17.88. In this study, we showed that students got high effects of education on respiratory therapy with scenario training of VTS in school curriculum. Therefore, the scenario training of VTS is useful for high-quality respiratory therapy educational programs.
