Abstract(in English) | This paper has proposed a method constructing composite right/left-handed cylindrical waveguide. In this waveguide, negative permeability is realized by the cut-off TM_<01> mode and also negative permittivity is realized by the TE_<11> mode of a sector waveguide with a ridge. Usefulness of the proposed cylindrical waveguide is verified from numerical computations of both the dispersion diagram and the transmission characteristics of the structure with the finite-number unit cells. |
