Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Compact UWB filter has been proposed by using GA-optimized conductor patch and slot shapes. Although this UWB filter shows good characteristics, this shapes are complicated. So that, it is difficult to employ directly such a filter for various filter characteristics. This paper first shows resonant mechanism of the UWB filter optimized by the GA. Second, we propose new conductor patch and slot shapes based on this resonant mechanism to improve characteristics of the dual-band filter. Finally, the proposed filter is fabricated, and also effectiveness of the filter is confirmed numerically and experimentally.
