Abstract(in English) | We have developed the liquid crystal loaded phase shifter as the adaptive device operating in microwave frequency, and are examining adaptive array antenna using that phase shifter. We consider microstrip patch antenna fed by exciting coplanar edge slot to reduce loss due to waveguide conversion between antenna elements and phase shifter. In this paper, we examined antenna characteristics depending on slot position by electromagnetic simulator. As a result, we find combination with electric and magnetic field vary depending on slot position, which effect those radiating pattern. |
