A study of a miniaturized microstrip line BPF with attenuation poles using tunable coupled-line resonator

Abstract(in English) In this study, we first propose a tunable coupled-line resonator and examine its resonant frequency for the line length and capacitance by using four-port coupled-line formula. The proposed resonator is realized by microstrip line structure, and frequency characteristics are simulated of the resonator with electromagnetic simulation. For designing the tunable microstrip line bandpass filter(BPF), the resonator's external Q and coupling coefficient between resonators are calculated. Finally, we try to fabricate the tunable BPF by using varactor diode and confirm its tunable frequency characteristics.
