Abstract(in English) | In order to utilizing terahertz (THz) region, the development of compact THz oscillators is essential. We aimed at the development of a device that amplifies the THz source and previously proposed a THz amplifier combining the population inversion of graphene with the field enhancement due to the spoof surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) induced on the surface of a metal mesh structure. In this work, we fabricated prototype THz amplifiers which exhibited extremely enhanced THz emission. |
