Dynamics of a pair of batteries controlled by a past power price with time-varying power consumption

Abstract(in English) In our previous study [Fukunaga et al., IEICE Tech. Rep., NLP2013-185(2014)], we theoretically analyzed dynamics of a pair of batteries: each battery starts to charge on the basis of both the past (i.e., delayed) power price and the current their battery level. Moreover, we designed system parameters for no-peak power. However, it is assumed that power consumption is maintained at a constant level. In fact, this assumption is not practical: the power consumption is always varied. This report introduces a virtual buffer concept and show numerically that we can suppress the peak power even if the power consumption is varied.
