| 抄録(和) | 人間による観察結果を用いた画質評価の方法は,視覚評価法と呼ばれている.画質は定義することが難しくあいまいなものであるが,医用画像における「最適の画質」とは診断する医師による病変の検出能を最大化することを意味するものであることは多くの人が認める所である.従って,放射線画像の画質評価は,最終的には放射線科医による視覚評価方法によって行われる.ところが,人間を用いた評価では、観察者に依存する要素が大きく,かつ,評価自体のゆらぎが大きいなど様々な問題点が存在する.視覚評価法においては,このような問題点を考慮して,人間による評価の結果を可能な限り普遍的なものにするために様々な工夫がなされてきた.本講演ではこのような視覚評価法の概観について述べる. |
| 抄録(英) | Visual assessment is the image quality subjectively assessed by human beings. Whereas the image quality is one of the concepts which is difficult to be defined and ambiguous, it can be accepted that the most appropriate image quality in medical images is the one which will maximize the detectability of lesions by diagnostic doctors. Therefore, the image quality in radiological images is finally determined by radiologists' visual assessment. However, visual assessment has the problem that there is a large inter-observer and intra-observer variance. So, visual assessment has been improved to make the assessment results as objective as possible. In this lecture, I give an outline of visual assessment method for radiological images. |
