Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It has been reported that Stepped Impedance Resonators (SIRs), which are composed of plural transmission lines with different characteristic impedance, have an ability to control higher-order mode resonances. Using this property resonator codes can be generated systematically by considering their own structures. On the contrary, resonator codes can be identified by detecting their higher-order mode resonances. This paper describes resonance properties and the experimental results of multimode SIRs, and discusses applicability to chipless RFID tags which have complimentary functions of the bar codes.
