Abstract(in English) | It has been reported that Stepped Impedance Resonators (SIRs), which are composed of plural transmission lines with different characteristic impedance, have an ability to control higher-order mode resonances. Using this property resonator codes can be generated systematically by considering their own structures. On the contrary, resonator codes can be identified by detecting their higher-order mode resonances. This paper describes resonance properties and the experimental results of multimode SIRs, and discusses applicability to chipless RFID tags which have complimentary functions of the bar codes. |
