Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When listening to speech, speech intelligibility can be improved by obtaining information such as phoneme information by seeing talker's movie. On the other hand, in serial recall tasks of digits presented visually, phenomenon that auditory information interfere with task performance is known as irrelevant speech effect. In this study, we investigated the effect of talker's movie that improve speech intelligibility on the serial recall task of auditory presented digits. To observe this effect, we compared difference of correct answer rate between only target sounds, adding the talker's movie speaking the same content as the target sounds and adding the talker's movie speaking the different content from target sounds. As a result, it did not show any significant effects on the correct answer rate in serial recall task whether or not the talker's movie corresponded to target sounds.
