Abstract(in English) | Effect of monocular contour cue on binocular stereopsis was investigated using random dot stereogram. We showed a target region, where binocular disparity was given, as a patch of dynamic random noise. The target was segregated from background area that was a static random dot noise. Our result indicates that disparity threshold to perceive depth from such a stimulus is smaller than that from normal stereogram. |
