Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Demands for indoor-positioning or indoor-navigation are increasing in many fields such as marketing, shopping, industries, and anticrime applications recently. In this research, indoor-positioning method using IR-UWB (Impulse Radio Ultra-Wideband) are considered. This method adopts TOA (Time of Arrival) distance surveying, and it has high precision superior to other positioning methods such as Wi-Fi positioning, IMES (Indoor MEssaging System), and iBeacon. In this paper, we illustrate configuration of IR-UWB positioning and characteristics. Then, we analyze the cause of positioning variance via almost practical condition experiment, and take measures to prevent positioning variance. Finally, we describe future plans of practical applications.
