Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Japanese railway took a successful safety record in comparison with other countries. However, it's safety is not necessarily favorable for railway export. Under the condition that conformity of several international standards especially RAMS standard (IEC62278) is required for development of railway export, design safety and reliability balance is important. This paper describes the consideration of design safety and reliability balance on future Japanese railway. |
