Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Vehicle ad-hoc networks that need no infrastructure are expected to be able to use for a large-scale disaster. When a natural disaster such as an earthquake strikes, people go away from their home by cars, some roads are broken. An emergency vehicle has to avoid the broken roads and finds a fastest route to its destination. Moreover, because the road status is dynamically changed, a dynamic routing method is required. In this paper, we propose a method to dynamically decide the fastest route for an emergency vehicle by collecting real-time road information such as the other vehicles' traveling histories and positions. Our method periodically collects the road information and modifies the route of an emergency vehicle.
