Abstract(in English) | A grain diameter of exyhydroxyapatite ceramics, which were obtained by sintering of green pellets of hydroxyapatite under dry air, was controlled by varying the sintering temperature, and an influence of grain diameter on the surface potential of polarized OHA ceramics was investigated. The elevation of sintering temperature successfully increased the grain diameter of OHA ceramics as well as the surface potential of polarized ones, suggesting the strong correlation between the grain diameter and the charge density on the surface of polarized OHA ceramics. |
