Abstract(in English) We have investigated a polarization mixing effect in an organic single crystal microcavity. A thiophene/phenylene co-oligomer (TPCO) single crystal was used as the active layer in the microcavity. From optically pumped emission measurements, it was found that two orthogonal polarization modes coupled together via the cavity polariton states formed in the TPCO microcavity. By tuning the device parameter, application to a wavelength tunable polarization converter would be considerable.
