Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) P300 speller is one of the BCI that can input characters using P300 which is one of the characteristics in brain wave. Because of low S/N ratio in brain waves, it is necessary to average the signals to improve discriminant performance. However, averaging brain waves degrade the performance of input speed. In this paper, we propose a method which considers the appearance probability of 'hiragana,' transition probability between letters and prior probability after the input of 'BS.' Moreover, we compare the proposed method with the conventional method and show that the performance is improved by the proposed method in P300 speller.
