Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Go-Back-i-symbol(GBi)ARQ scheme, proposed to improve the throughput in Meteor Burst Communications, can archieve symbol-wise retransmission by using a convolutional encoder and a Viterbi decoder. In this paper, we propose to apply the GBi-ARQ scheme to low interference cognitive communication systems. We also propose a new reliability evaluation method for the GBi-ARQ scheme named Hard Detection and Soft Decoding(HDSD) scheme in which hard decision metric is used for reliability evaluation and soft decision metric is used for decoding. We compare the performance of GBi-ARQ methods with conventional and HDSD reliability evaluation in low interference cognitive systems by computer simulations.
