Abstract(in English) | High frequency spectrum is expected to offer a wider bandwidth for future broadband cellular networks. This paper presents the measurement results of the outdoor micro cellular wideband channels at 11 GHz. The heights of the BS antenna installed at the balcony of the apartment and MS antenna on the top of the measurement vehicle were 9 m and 3 m, respectively. The snapshots were taken at constant time interval while MS was moving around the area with radius of 200 m at the velocity slower than 10 km/h. A wideband 24 × 24 MIMO channel sounder having 400 MHz signal bandwidth and dual-polarized 12-element uniform circular antenna arrays were used. The polarimetric beamforming and SAGE algorithm were used for data analysis. This paper presents the path loss characteristics and the polarization properties for LoS and NLoS around corner areas, respectively, and RMS delay spread. Then, from the detail analysis for the specific area with radius of 60 m that was performed with the azimuth delay power spectrum and the estimated multipath parameters in terms of the MS position, a dominant propagation mechanism was discussed. |
