Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Super-channel transmission is a promising technique to increase the capacity of an optical channel beyond 100Gbps in next generation's optical transport network. The performance of a super-channel consisted with multiple subcarriers, however, degrades by an impairment from its particular subcarriers. In this paper, we propose to improve the performance of a super-channel by dispersing the degradation of particular subcarriers over all subcarriers. We also demonstrate that proposed method enables to effectively mitigate filtering-induced penalty of a super-channel by a numerical simulation.
