Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we discuss about the performance of spelling with P300 speller in clinical practice. P300 speller is one of the BCI communication tools, which uses P300 as the feature quantity and allows users to select letters just by thinking. This paper shows that the spelling speed in P300 speller by ALS patients was improved by RB-ARQ considering the transition probability of letters. On the other hand, P300 speller requires a user to input letters for the machine learning every time before use. This paper also shows that incremental learning gave the reduction of training time by ALS patients with high accuracy.
