Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) P300 speller is one of the BCI (Brain Computer Interface) applications. It utilizes P300 which is an event-related potential as the target feature for classification and allows users to select letters just by thoughts. There are various types of P300 speller interfaces, and we focus on the letter matrix interface, in which letters are allocated on a matrix. This paper examined the amplitude and latency of P300 which were affected by matrix size and showed the results of the comparison among four interfaces. This paper also examined whether the position of a target character on the interface affected those of P300 or not.
