Abstract(in English) Concerns about the usability of human-computer interfaces have been increasing in recent years. Although electroencephalography (EEG) is considered to be capable to evaluate the usability, previous researches using EEG mainly worked only on basic emotions, which are not sufficient to represent the affective state corresponding to usability. In this research, we aim to distinguish "Irritating" state, which can be considered to express the feeling of hardness of the task. We configured a novel method to elicit "Irritating" state using target reaching tasks on a computer. We simultaneously recorded EEG signals during the tasks and classified the affective state using Support Vector Machine (SVM). The accuracy of classification was reached over 84%.
