Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In network construction exercises, a lot of beginners fail in satisfying the requirements for network reachability of communication data. When the learners cannot find the erros of their networks and cannot correct them, they ask the instructors for help. Even instructors may spend much time for finding the errors and then generating hints to correct them. We built a hypothesis "Learners decide network settings based on the simulation result of operations for communication data in nodes. The causes that they cannot find the errors and correct them are their wrong simulation. " Based on the hypothesis, we developed a hint generator that derives the operations based on learners' network settings, evaluates their execution result based on the requirements for network reachability, and derives the operation based on the requirements for network reachability.
