Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, there is a risk of the individual development of OSS by the shortening of service life cycle and sophistication of the network.. As a result, OSS configuration of the telecom carrier may be complicated, and OSS development costs may increase further. We consider that overlapping development of OSS functions is a significant impact on the cost increase then we are studying the easy construction method of OSS by the combination of the functional components highly reusable. Determination of the function granularity is the most important issue in the discussion of the functional components. We have been studying the availability of the management system standard for determination of the particle size of the functional components. In this paper, we discuss the challenges in identifying the functional components with reference to the standards of system management functions of the OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) management standards.
