Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Tele-medicine services have been widely deployed in many levels and approaches, for example, between hospital and hospital, patient and doctor. Recently, smart devices, and wearable sensors, known as IoT (Internet of Things), are used for basic virtual sign monitoring in daily life. In this article, we draw out some important issues from networking perspective for tele-medical services. Starting from today service scenarios, what limitations and benefits are, to the future services driving from the Internet based perspective. In conclusion, beside bandwidth and time delay fluctuation problems, we believe that to restore end-to-end communication is really needed. This will allow new innovative involving to create more attractive services.
