Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As the contents of the Internet become richer, quality of communication network plays a key role in determining the perceived experience of users. Consequently, understanding both QoS of the communication network and QoE of users, in terms of user and network interaction, are becoming increasingly important. In this paper, we analyze the effect of memory bias of network quality on user behavior in a flow of web browsing. We utilize a method to convert passively monitored telecommunication traffic into units of user actions and behaviors which correlates highly with the QoE of users. We show that there exists a memory bias where the user's experience and behavior is affected not only by the current network quality, but also by the series of qualities in the past.
