A Method of Boosting Real-time Performance in a Hypervisor Environment Aimed at NFV

Abstract(in English) In these days, a concept called "NFV" has been conceived by ETSI. In this conception, network function will be virtualized and consolidated onto industry standard high volume server by Hypervisor, but it cause performance interference between virtualized network function and Hypervisor by sharing same hardware resources. In this paper, we propose a method of CPU resource assignment for installing real-time network function onto Hypervisor. Also we show the efficacy of this method by running real network system on Hypervisor optimized by our method.
