Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) NTRU, which belongs to in the lattice-based cryptosystems, is an encryption scheme based on properties of residue rings of polynomial rings. Basically, we can consider the extention of NTRU by replacing the ring with other rings. However, not any ring is suitable for this extension of NTRU because the size of region which enables to decrypt in the extension of NTRU is dependent on the selection of ring. The ring used in the original NTRU is isomorphic to the group ring for a cyclic group, moreover, we can consider the extension of NTRU using the group rings for general finite groups. Generally, the group rings are suitable for the extension of NTRU mentioned above. In this paper, we discuss the security of the extension of NTRU for several groups, and compare the security of these extension of NTRU and that of the original NTRU.
