Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With increasing demands for air transportation, large airports in metropolitan areas, such as Tokyo and Narita international airport, are required to improve their performances and capacities. This paper presents a modeling method for airport surface traffic and its application to simulation using object Petri nets. In addition, we try to identify the bottleneck of airport surface traffic based on the simulation for helping the evaluation of airport capacity.
