| 抄録(和) | 遠隔コミュニケーション支援システムにアバターロボットを利用するときには、このロボットをどのように制御するかがシステムの有用性を大きく左右すると考えられる。本報告では「人間対人間」と「人間対遠隔地の人間のアバターであるロボット」の二種類の条件で、アバターロボットの頭部動作制御の効果に関して被験者実験を行った結果について述べる。被験者に与えたタスクはTVモニタに表示された3人の人物から1人の優秀者を選出するというグループディスカッションを模擬した対話である。5つの項目について、それぞれ5段階の印象評価を実施した。その結果、視線方向がわかる、相手の意図がよくわかった、相手に自分の意図がよく分かってもらえたという項目などで興味深い結果が得られた。また被験者の性格によって印象評価値に著しい差があることも確認された。 |
| 抄録(英) | When the avatar robot is used in remote communication support system, how to control the robot is the key to the usefulness of this system. The experiments were conducted to examine the effect of head motion control of the robot avatars under human-to-human and human-to-robot conditions. Here the robot is the avatar of the remote person. Task given to the subjects is a group discussion that elects a winner from the three people that have been displayed on the TV monitor. Five-step impression evaluations were carried out about five items. Interesting results were obtained for the following items: Did you find the partner's direction of a look well? Did you find a partner's intention well? Did you make the partner understand your intention well? It was also found that each impression evaluation value has a remarkable difference by the subject's character. |
