Proposal and Evaluations of the "Train Radio" which Vocalizes the Town's Rumors in the Train

Abstract(in English) When getting on a train, you usually happen to notice the human who use smart phone to waste of time. The mood in the train will not be good as their eyes tend to look down. Therefore, we come to design 'Train Radio' which is medium both looking up one's eyes and getting familiar information. This is a place-linked net radio we can hear a rumor about surroundings while taking on the train. The reports of this study describe the concept of 'Train Radio', system architectures and the results of evaluation experiment. Based on the experimental results in Enoshima Railway, we discuss contents and playback methods about 'Train Radio', furthermore, user's behavior.
