Bifurcation phenomena of simple spiking neurons with harmonic base signals

Abstract(in English) The paper studies a simple basic dynamics of spiking neuron and pulse-coupled neurons with double base signal inputs. The dynamics depends on the shape of the base signal. The neuron has periodic base signal. As key parameters vary, the shape of the base signal varies and the system can exhibit bifurcation phenomena of various periodic/chaotic spike-trains. Using the mapping procedure, such phenomena are analyzed precisely.
