Abstract(in English) Our recently proposed interference-aware channel segregation based dynamic channel assignment (IACS-DCA) using beacon signal can form a channel reuse pattern achieving sufficiently low co-channel interference (CCI) at each access point (AP) in a distributed manner. However, IACS-DCA using beacon signal cannot adapt the channel reuse pattern based to the changing traffic distribution because channel segregation is performed using traffic-independent beacon signal power measurement. In this paper, we propose the received beacon signal power correction scheme so that the corrected measured beacon signal power is proportionate to the traffic volume. In the proposed scheme, every AP transmits its beacon signal containing the traffic volume information of its own cell. Based on the traffic information, each AP corrects the measured beacon signal powers and computes the instantaneous CCI powers which are proportionate to the traffic volume. We show by computer simulation that by using the proposed power correction scheme, a channel reuse pattern can be formed according to traffic distribution.
