Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes both a CMA based PAPR reduction technique for MIMO-OFDM and a semiblind data estimation technique without side information. In the transmitter, phase coefficients multiplied by data symbols are determined by the phase-only CMA. In the receiver, the phase coefficients and data symbols are estimated without side-information but with a few pilot symbols. Simulation results show that the proposed PAPR reduction technique provides a superior PAPR performance with fewer iterations than a conventional technique. Moreover, it is shown that the proposed estimation technique provides a similar detection performance as the case with the perfect side-information, and provides a superior BER performance than the case without PAPR reduction.
