Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The fifth generation (5G) cellular network is expected to accommodate not only the rapidly increasing mobile traffic but also various kinds of devices and things that will equip with communication functions, such as seen in M2M (Machine to Machine) and IoT (Internet of Things). Research on 5G supposes several scenarios in which 5G will be used, each of which has different / unique requirements. This report introduces the supposed and expected scenarios of 5G and future wireless communications, and several technologies expected to realize those.
