Abstract(in English) Present data traffic is significantly increasing, and spatial division multiplexing (SDM) is expected to become one of the next generation transmission technologies to catch up such that huge demand for the data traffic. So far, several groups have demonstrated high transmission capacity with utilizing multi-core fiber (MCF). One issue is the transmission channel number because it is just the same with the core number "N" of MCF. In this paper, we propose novel scheme of utilizing "advanced" OAM mode. The estimated results show the possibility of 11 mode-channel, that corresponds to almost 2 times enhancement of the transmission channel on 6-core MCF.
