Development of Measuring Procedure for Dynamic Vision with LCD display

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we have developed a measuring procedure of dynamic vision acuity with commercially available LCD display. In order to reproduce a movable test target on the LCD display, our system adopts the contrast-varied visual target made with computer graphics. At the same time to measure the dynamic visual acuity, eye positions of observer are also captured by an eye tracking camera in this system. As the experimental results between observers separated by age, an ability of dynamic vision acuity by adult (50's) degenerates in comparison to the ability by young (20's). Moreover, a high correlation is observed between the dynamic vision acuity and deviation of by eye movement, which is evaluated by the variance of eye movement.
