Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, a wideband 4-port MIMO antenna consisting of leaf-shaped bowtie radiating elements is designed, and its characteristics are revealed by the FDTD analysis. In the first place, frequency response of input impedances over the frequency band of 7-11 GHz are evaluated by the FDTD analysis for the case where two leaf-shaped bowtie slot antennas and two leaf-shaped monopole antennas are arranged on a dielectric substrate and they are excited by delta-gap voltage sources. Based on the simulated input impedances, feeding circuits for the slot and monopole antennas are designed. Finally, antenna characteristics of 4-port MIMO antenna, in which two leaf-shaped bowtie slot antennas and two leaf-shaped monopole antennas are fed by designed feeding circuits, are presented in order to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed configuration.
