| 抄録(和) | 筆者らは,大域非同期局所同期(GALS)システムに対する非同期バスの一つとして,環状のバスを複数のセグメントに分割した上で,それらを動的に接続するリングセグメントバス(RSB)を提案している.しかし,クロックドメイン(CD)内部の同期バスとして共有バスを想定しており,これを使用したデータ転送は単一に限定されることから,並列転送が可能というRSBの長所を生かし切れていないという問題がある.そこで本研究では,CD内のバスに対してもRSBを適用することによる階層的なRSB構造を提案する.この形態では,バスの接続を担うコネクタ回路を二重化することにより,CD内で複数の同期的なデータ転送を行っている間にも,同時に二つの異なるCDへの非同期的なデータ転送が可能であり,速度性能の改善を期待できる.これに基づいたシステムをHDLにより設計し,シミュレーションを通じて上述した複数のデータ転送が実行されていることを確認した. |
| 抄録(英) | A ring segmented bus (RSB) which connects the divided annular bus dynamically has been proposed as an asynchronous bus architecture for GALS systems. However, since only the shared bus type architecture is considered as the synchronous bus of CD, there is a problem that the performance of the parallel transfers in the system deteriorates. In this study, we propose a hierarchical RSB architecture by applying the RSB to synchronous buses. This architecture can perform the dual asynchronous data transfer with the dual-channel connector circuit while performing multiple synchronous data transfer in CD . We designed the GALS system based on proposed architecture, and confirmed its operation by behavior simulation. |
