Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The FM ranging is a well-known method for extracting target information in a airborne radar. However, it is not appropriate for Low observable targets because it applies plural waveforms and radar observation time in a radar scan is divided into the number of the waveforms. In this paper, we propose a new method in which a single waveform is applied in a radar scan for avoiding division of observation time, and target information is extracted from observations between several scans. This method uses beat frequency, Doppler velocity, and a range in PRI (Pulse Repetition Interval) as observation and fuses them for reduce estimation error. We show the effectiveness of the proposed method to the conventional method through simulations.
