| Abstract(in English) | In any typical situation, the setting up of a new Space Technology Test Centre is normally done by a single contractor, which include designing the building, managing the contractor, procurement and installation of the test equipment. However, for Malaysia, the construction work and equipment installation are done by separate contractors. Managing both construction works and equipment installation was no easy feat as there were several issues faced by ANGKASA once the construction began. This paper will present the five stages of integration between building works and equipment installation and explore the issues found at every stage, and how steps were taken to addres those issues. Review and monitoring is done continuously to ensure that the final result will be a complted and workable AIT facility that meets all the specifications and requirements specified. |
