Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed an analysis system for numerical dosimetry on the rabbit eye exposed for millimeter wave (MMW) and infrared (IR). With this system, heat transport analysis code, in which the effect of fluid flow is considered for energy transportation, is coupled with electromagnetic field analysis code. We have also developed a numerical model of anatomical ocular tissue for rabbit eye with high resolution of 50μm. Computer simulations are performed to understand the heat transport mechanism in the rabbit eye under the MMW (40GHz and 95GHz) and IR (808nm) exposure. As a result, the effect of fluid flow becomes larger according to the increase of frequency or incident power density. It is found that significant nonlinearities are observed in the solution of time dependent temperature distributions, which depend on frequency and input power density.
