| 抄録(和) | 日本人英語学習者の単語発話時における母音挿入が、語彙化された未知語語彙表象構築にどのような影響を与えるか検討した。実在語に類似するCCVCC(sporfなど)の音韻構造を持つ未知語の学習を2日間行い、学習後に音韻プライミング実験を行った。本実験から、以下の3点が明らかになった。第1に、これまでの先行研究と同様に睡眠を含む24時間後に、学習した未知語に語彙競合効果がみられた。第2に、本研究ではCCVCCのような1音節の比較的短い語を使用したが、はっきりとした競合効果が観察された。第3に、母音挿入の有無によって、未知語の語彙表象に違いがみられた。母音挿入低群では、命名課題時の閉音節プライム(CCVCC)、開音節プライム(CVCVCVCV)条件の反応時間の差は統計的に有意となったが、母音挿入高群では条件間でこのような差はみられなかった。これらの結果は、母音挿入が語彙表象の構築に影響を与えることを示している。 |
| 抄録(英) | The present study investigated the influence of Japanese English learners' vowel epenthesis on lexical representation of novel words. Participants learned CCVCC novel words that are similar to existing English words for two days. After the novel word learning, participants joined a priming experiment. The study revealed following three points. (1) In line with previous studies, learnt novel words engaged in lexical competition after 24 hours including sleep. (2) This study used relatively short one syllable novel words (CCVCC), but lexical competition effects were clearly observed. (3) Lexical representation varied by the presence or absence of vowel epenthesis. Low epenthesis group showed a statistically significant difference between closed syllable condition (CCVCC) and open syllable condition (CVCVCVCV) in a naming task. On the contrary, high epenthesis group did not show such a difference. These results suggest that establishment of a lexical representation is influenced by vowel epenthesis. |
